University of Texas neighborhood is heavily populated by university students, as well as creative types and those who enjoy a vibrant and bustling community. Housing in the area is varied, and includes condominiums, small cottages and bungalows, and large traditional historic homes. The University of Texas area is very walkable and Guadalupe St., one of the main roads in the area, has a dedicated bike track in places. Being so close to the University of Texas provides some world class community amenities, such as the Blanton Museum of Art, the Bob Bullock State History Museum, Harry Ransom Center, and the LBJ Presidential Library. The large student community at University of Texas also means there is a wide range of international foods in the area.
