Originally founded over 100 years ago, the Rosedale neighborhood offers a wonderful community feeling with an urban experience. Many of the homes in the Rosedale neighborhood were built in the 1920s-1940s and range in style from small Tudor cottages and bungalows with shady porches to new modern construction. It is common to find an older home from the 1920’s that has been renovated and remodeled on the inside, providing modern convenience with classic architecture. The Shoal Creek Hike & Bike Trail is to the west of the neighborhood and runs all the way south of Lady Bird Lake. Several large hospitals are also nearby.

Located north of W. 38th street, west of Burnet Rd., east of Shoal Creek, and south of Hancock Dr., Rosedale is only minutes away from downtown Austin and the University of Texas.
