Spring Break is right around the corner, and as usual, Austin offers many fun and exciting activities for everyone to enjoy!

Rodeo Austin Carnival                                                                                                                                                                3/12-3/16

Located at the Travis County Expo Center, Rodeo Austin hosts Austin’s largest carnival complete with rides, games, tons of food, and of course live music. The rodeo is open daily from 11am – 12 midnight during Spring Break.

$2 Movies at Flix Brewhouse                                                                                                                                                    3/14-3/18

Each day at 10:30am this Round Rock based theater will be showing a specially priced movie the whole family can enjoy. There’s a different movie every day, so be sure to check the schedule, and you can even purchase tickets in advance. Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Free Music for Kids & Families                                                                                                                                                3/14-3/18

The Little Yoga House, located off Lamar on Parkway, will be hosting free music for kids and families daily during Spring Break from 1-2pm.

Circus Chickendog Presents: 1000+ Tricks in One Hour                                                                                               3/14-3/19

This original 60-minute family-friendly show consists of six rescued dogs, a talking and singing scarlet macaw, lots of amazing dog tricks, juggling, unicycling, and more! Show times are 1pm Monday-Friday and 10:30am on Saturday at the Institution Theater on Woodbury Dr.

KGSR Live Broadcast                                                                                                                                                                    3/16-3/19

Starting at 6am Wednesday-Friday and 8am Saturday at the W Austin, you’ll enjoy 4 hours of exclusive, live interviews and performances from featured SXSW artists. You just have to make a $5 donation to the Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas, and the first 300 guests through the door each morning will receive a complimentary breakfast treat.

Waterloo Records Day Party                                                                                                                                                     3/16-3/19

Come out to the Waterloo on Lamar from 12-6pm each day to enjoy free, all ages shows. No wristbands are required, and autograph signings will be done after the shows.

SXSW Outdoor Stage at Lady Bird Lake                                                                                                                               3/17-3/19

Three nights of free, all ages outdoor shows at the SXSW Outdoor Stage. Gates open at 3pm Thursday and Friday, and 12pm Saturday. This event is free to the public, but you will need a SXSW Guest Pass to attend.
