2016 U.S. Vintage National Championships
11/2-11/6 | Circuit of The Americas
For the 4th consecutive year, old meets new when over 400 competitors test iconic racing machines on the Circuit of the Americas state of the art track! See some of the craziest, most charismatic and passionate racing to hit the track this year.

Christmas at the Caswell House
11/3-11/10 | The Caswell House
Christmas at the Caswell House has been an Austin community tradition since 1983.  The Austin Junior Forum transforms this historic home into a winter wonderland.  Now in its 32nd year, Christmas at Caswell raises funds that are distributed to local charities and non-profits.

11/4-11/13 | New Braunfels, Texas
Taking place in New Braunfels, Wurstfest is a unique celebration rich in German culture and full of Texas fun! The event includes good food, music, dancing, exciting carnival rides and games, German, Texan and domestic beer, special events and the finest in Alpine and Bavarian Style Entertainment.

Austin Powwow
11/5 | Travis County Expo Center
Now in its 25th year and the largest of its kind in Texas, this festival features American Indian dancing, singing, arts & crafts and food.

Texas Book Festival
11/5-11/6 | Texas State Capitol Building
The Texas Book Festival has evolved into one of the most prominent literary events in the country, hosting around 250 authors each year.  There are multiple venues and events to enjoy, including readings, panel discussions, signings, live music, and local food trucks.  Lots of fun for book lovers of all ages!

Austin Celtic Festival
11/5-11/6 | Fiesta Gardens
This annual festival is also the largest gathering of Celts in Central Texas.  The event is home to four stages of Irish, Scottish and Breton music, dance, sports, storytelling, workshops and more.

Fun Fun Fun Fest

Throughout the years, Fun Fun Fun Fest has become renowned for its musical lineup, as well as its collection of comedy, food, action sports, and poster art experiences.  The festival is custom booked for the most passionate, underground, and progressive musicians, comedians and fans around the world.  It’s now recognized as one of the most relaxed, creative, and pioneering festivals in music today.

East Austin Studio Tour
11/12-11/13 & 11/19-11/20 | Various Locations
More than 70 Eastside studios open their doors for the public’s viewing and purchasing pleasure.

A Christmas Affair
11/16-12/4 | Palmer Events Center
A Christmas Affair is the largest fundraiser for The Junior League of Austin.  The event hosts around 200 vendors in a themed shopping extravaganza that includes parties and children’s events.  The money raised from the event helps the Junior League’s members volunteer and provide financial support to 29+ community nonprofits.

Art From the Streets Show & Sale
11/19-11/20 | Austin Convention Center
Visit the 24th Annual Art From the Streets Show & Sale to shop original works and help continue the efforts of AFTS to provide a safe, creative space for homeless and formerly homeless local artists.  Profits go to the artists.

Turkey Trot
11/24 | The Long Center
ThunderCloud Subs’ annual Turkey Trot is a cherished Thanksgiving Day tradition in Austin.  It’s grown to be the largest five-mile run in Texas, and one of the largest Turkey Trots in the nation.  It’s also a great way to work up a Thanksgiving-sized appetite.  Compete with the best of Austin or bring the kids for a more relaxed holiday jog.  All of the event proceeds are donated to Caritas of Austin, which provides education and support services to working poor people to help them become self-sufficient.

Blue Genie Art Bazaar
11/25-12/24 | The Marchesa Hall & Theatre
The Blue Genie Art Bazaar is a unique holiday art show held in Austin.  Open for more than 15 years, the free Bazaar features handmade artwork and gifts from more than 200 local and regional artists – with a portion of proceeds going to Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Chuy’s Christmas Parade
11/26 | Congress Avenue
This spirited holiday parade features a procession of giant balloons, marching bands, vintage cars, celebrities and floats to usher in the season of giving.  The annual Chuy’s Children Giving to Children Parade, benefiting Operation Blue will be held in Downtown Austin.  Each guest brings a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Blue Santa.  Parade highlights include marching bands, giant inflatable balloons, and festive floats with music.
