In addition to warmer weather and the school year coming to an end, Austin has lots of exciting festivals, concerts, and more to look forward to this May!

Art City Austin Festival

Nearly 200 national artists, top local restaurants, two music stages and hands-on art activities all together at the Palmer Event Center for one of the city’s favorite festivals.

Eeyore’s Annual Birthday Party

Held at Pease Park, Eeyore’s Birthday is a fundraiser that benefits many local non-profits.  This annual event consists of live music, local beer, food, acrobats and costume contests.

iHeartRadio Country Music Festival

The Frank Erwin Center will host Country music’s biggest stars in a live celebration of all things country for the third year in a row.

Disney on Ice: Let’s Celebrate!

It’s one big party on ice at the Cedar Park Center with all your favorite Disney friends at Disney On Ice presents Let’s Celebrate!

Old Pecan Street Spring Arts Festival

A free, family event, the Pecan Street Festival is the oldest and largest art festival in Central Texas.  Musicians, food vendors, artists and crafts people turn Sixth Street – historically called Pecan Street – into a lively street fair where there is something for people of all ages.

West Austin Studio Tour
5/14-5/15 & 5/21-5/22
The West Austin Studio Tour is a free, self-guided tour that celebrates Austin’s talented and wildly diverse creative community.  The public is invited to discover new artistic talent, see working studios, learn about artists’ tools, techniques and inspirations, explore galleries and a variety of exhibitions, and immerse themselves in the arts and local business communities.

Blues on the Green

Held every summer at Zilker Park, Blues on the Green is Austin’s largest free concert series, and one of Austin’s favorite traditions.

Wizard of Oz

The Long Center presents Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new production of the all-time classic, completely re-conceived for the stage.  The production contains all the beloved songs from the Oscar winning movie, all the favorite characters and iconic moments, plus a few surprises along the way.

Life Time Tri CapTex
5/30
Celebrating its 25th year, The Life Time Tri CapTex has become one of the most popular multi-sport races in the country.  The event attracts all levels of athletes from top-ranked professionals to first-time triathletes.
