CLARE HAS LIVED IN THE AUSTIN AREA on and off since college days at the University of Texas. She was born in New York and grew up in England and Houston. She raised her children on a creek-side organic farm in Dripping Springs and moved into Central Austin in 1998 when her youngest son graduated from Dripping Springs High School. She received her teaching certificate in secondary education from the University of Texas and received her real estate license in 1993, when she came to Wilson & Goldrick. Clare also co-edited a bi-annual journal for eight years and is a certified Waldorf teacher.

Despite her teaching credentials, Clares first love is real estate, especially Hill Country properties. She specializes in farms and ranches in the Hays and Blanco County areas, but also loves to sell homes in Central and South Austin, being a great appreciator of the charm and character of these eclectic neighborhoods.
