Joi was born in Austin, raised in Houston, and returned to Austin in 1995 where she received her Bachelor of Science in Communications at The University of Texas. Prior to being a Realtor, Joi worked in the hi-tech industry as a technical trainer. This background allows her to use technology to her clients advantage. She enjoys being a Realtor, and loves the City of Austin and the surrounding lakes and hill country. She is skilled at working with Buyers, Sellers and Investors. She works to provide the highest level of customer service, prides herself on attention to detail, and sees herself as an advisor and guide to her clients. Joi was named ‘Rookie of the Year’ for Wilson & Goldrick her first year in real estate and continues to be have strong sales through the years. She is proud that most of her business comes from referrals and hopes this provides a testament to the level of service and expertise she can provide.

She has completed the Graduate Realtor Institute designation course which is a broad in depth continuing education course. Joi is also a Certified EcoBroker® having successfully completed a unique and informative training program on the energy and environmental issues that affect real estate transactions. Joi joins the movement of professionals pushing the real estate market toward energy-efficient, sustainable, and healthier design/features in homes and buildings.

Because of her communication abilities and technical knowledge, Joi was selected by the Austin Board of Realtors as a trainer to instruct other realtors on the efficient use of the Austin area MLS software.

In addition to working in real estate, Joi volunteers with organizations such as the Austin Children’s Shelter and the Austin Fine Arts Alliance, and she is a member of the Texas Exes Alumni Association. Joi also enjoys traveling, reading, baking, and exercising.
